About PocketLab
PocketLab is a free web application for managing audio samples and sound banks for the Teenage Engineering Pocket Operator PO-33. It runs entirely in your browser, with no installation required, and works offline as a Progressive Web App once installed.
Built for musicians and sound designers who want to organize their sample library, prepare drum kits and melodic banks, and export them ready to load onto their PO-33. Whether you are sampling field recordings, chopping up beats, or building a custom synth palette, PocketLab keeps everything in one place.

Upload WAV and MP3 files. Trim, tag, and organize them in folders.
Sound Banks
Build DRUM and MELODIC banks of up to 16 samples each. Live preview before export.
Projects
Group banks by album, live set, or session. Track the PO-33 40-second total duration limit.

Download your banks as a single audio file ready to feed into your PO-33 via aux input, or save the full library as a ZIP archive.

Frequently asked questions
- Is PocketLab free?
- Yes. All core features (samples, banks, projects, export) are free and work locally in your browser.
- Which Pocket Operators are supported?
- Built for the PO-33 K.O.! Other Pocket Operators do not load samples via audio input the same way and are not currently supported.
- What audio formats are supported?
- WAV and MP3. Samples are auto-converted to the PO-33 native format (44.1 kHz mono) on export.
- Where is my data stored?
- Locally in your browser via IndexedDB. Your samples never leave your device unless you export them.
- Does it work offline?
- Yes. PocketLab is a Progressive Web App. Install it to your home screen and it works without internet.
